Civility. Opportunity. Diversity.

Bringing People Together

Public service is a calling; one we have all answered. It is a call to action for those of us who believe in civil discourse, honest leadership and a commitment to the values that unite every citizen. And, it is this call that has led me to run for 2nd Vice President of the National Association of Counties.

I have great faith in our nation and in our ability to solve even the greatest of challenges. But in order to do so, we must first commit to the belief that every voice should be a respected one and that each citizen should be treated with dignity and compassion. I also believe that the National Association of Counties is the perfect organization to champion these concepts.

As local government leaders, we serve on the front lines of our republic and are closest to the people we serve.

As such, I am humbly asking for your support and your vote.

Civility.

Commissioner Desloge is committed to restoring and advancing civility in public service. His passion for productive civil discourse has not only guided him during both his private and public life, it also led him to help create Village Square, a nationally recognized non-partisan public education forum aimed at tackling issues on a local, state, and national level.

Opportunity.

As President of the Florida Association of Counties, Bryan has committed his term to expanding opportunity for all Floridians. Understanding Florida's diverse, growing and changing population, he is committed to expanding educational and employment opportunities to all of Florida's citizens.

Diversity.

A fierce advocate for bringing sensible solutions to the table, Commissioner Desloge is a strong proponent of bi-partisanship and ensuring that every voice in our democracy is a respected one. Known for his ability to find consensus even on the toughest issues, Bryan knows our nation's problems can only be solved if our leaders demonstrate unity in approaching these challenges.
